Geriatric Counseling
As we know, the aging process is normal and something that we will all experience. However, it can be stressful and overwhelming. Aging comes with physical and cognitive limitations. Day-to-day tasks like cooking and cleaning can be difficult. Even hobbies and passions can bring along emotional consequences.
Statistics show that the suicide rate among the geriatric population is the highest of any age group. In addition, depression and substance dependency can significantly affect individuals within the ages of 60-75.
At All Is Well, we are happy to help older adults who have these emotional hardships to manage their emotions, find new sources of meaning, and provide support. We bring experience from senior living and memory care, retirement homes, hospice care, and palliative nursing home care to bring comfort and support to you or an elderly loved one.
