Child/Adolescent Counseling
Children, like adults, can benefit so much from the counseling experience. Counseling can help children and adolescents learn what causes their distress, improve their ability to ask for help, express their emotions and feelings, and increase ways to problem-solve. All Is Well utilizes a holistic, child-centered, and strengths-based approach to be as effective as possible with this population. We seek to help children understand their strengths and areas of growth, while reducing negative emotions and behaviors.
We build the therapeutic relationship on the child's level and language. For most children, this may be through games, creative art, storytelling, or play. Adolescents may benefit from similar methods along with basic talk-therapy.
Our goal is to engage, support, and enrich the counseling process with the child or teenager.
